What connection does Huck see between the duke and the king and real royalty? What do you think Twain's opinion is?

If you are asking under what framework does Huck accept the lie at first, then the answer might be Huck's fixation with the supposed story of King Louis XVI's (husband of Marie Antoinette) heir, the Dauphin, being exiled and wandering about in America. His previous mention of it to Jim and the later appropriation of that persona by the con men suggests foreshadowing.  Yet, there is not much that fools him, as he realized quick what they were, but simply decided to continue the game to avoid "quarrels".
